It actually has air inside. The plants recycle it naturally through photosynthesis, using carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen during the day. Water also cycles inside the glass by evaporating and condensing, creating a self-sustaining mini ecosystem that stays balanced when kept in indirect light.

Leaving them wrapped too long can cause stress or damage. Take the plants out of the box as soon as you get your product. Keep them watered for a few days, *not drenched soil, not in direct sunlight but a little light out in a open room is perfect.

Start with less water than you think, you can always add more later. Overwatering is much harder to fix. A few light sprays with our spray bottle is sufficient. If pouring water, do not drench soil!

The lid keeps the ecosystem inside cycling forever without interference.
