What is the size of the glass?
What is the size of the glass?
The original is 8x8x6 inches and the tall is 6x6x9 inches.
How does a terrarium work without air?
How does a terrarium work without air?
It actually has air inside. The plants recycle it naturally through photosynthesis, using carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen during the day. Water also cycles inside the glass by evaporating and condensing, creating a self-sustaining mini ecosystem that stays balanced when kept in indirect light.
Will the plants survive if I keep them in the box for a few days?
Will the plants survive if I keep them in the box for a few days?
Leaving them wrapped too long can cause stress or damage. Take the plants out of the box as soon as you get your product. Keep them watered for a few days, *not drenched soil, not in direct sunlight but a little light out in a open room is perfect.
How often should I water?
How often should I water?
Start with less water than you think, you can always add more later. A few sprays with our spray bottle is sufficient. If pouring water, do not drench soil! The Cork lid will allow water to slowly evaporate over time, you may need to add more after several months or more.
How long should I keep the light on?
How long should I keep the light on?
- The plants do not require this LED for growth.
- The LED is meant for decoration and ambience.
- Use it when you want to admire your terrarium or display it.

Delivered quickly and easy to assemble
Really great idea and exactly what I was looking for! I will be ordering another when back in stock. Thank you!
So excited about my new terrarium! I enjoyed creating it and placing everything just so!
Mine came right after a big surgery so it was a perfect distraction! Easy to put together, love watching the moss absorb the moisture and come to life, and all three of my plants were happy/healthy despite waiting a day at the post office. I even added a couple little plastic animal friends for fun! *Only thing to note: please be more specific on how much water to add in the beginning.
They arrived very healthy!
It was so fun setting everything up and finally seeing it all lit up made it such a great experience. Would definitely order more in the future as gifts and for myself.
Absolutely, love this. I'm buying the short one next. Kit came complete, great instructions. Its a conversation piece for sure.
Came well packaged and easy to set ip
I like it so far. Came with too much dirt.
Easy, fun, and relaxing!
Awesome!
Good kit
Love it! Was super easy to assemble.
I am so happy with how everything turned out. It really looks better than I ever expected. The growth has been incredibly fast over the last few weeks. It is honestly fun to watch it get bigger every single day. I definitely recommend giving this a try if you have the chance.
I had fun setting this up. Plants arrived in perfect condition. So far so good - it’s been about a week since I put it together. The lid light is a great feature, and everything you need is included - except the tool kit, which is helpful especially manipulating things in the tall orb.
I love the kit. This was my first experience and it was so easy and fun. I had a few pieces of drift wood that just fit in perfectly. I am ready to do another one. Thank you so much for the kit and easy to follow directions. I love the mister and the quality tools. I highly recommend this kit.
I didn’t use all of the soil but really liked putting the whole thing together. I do wish I would have waited until the larger one was in stock.
Due to the too much soil issue, I'm kinda unhappy with the experience. I'd appreciate it if someone could reach out to me to let me know if I can get new plants if they die or something when I try to remove the extra soil. Outside of that, I love it.
Very easy and was calming to complete. The kit was awesome and tools are great! Package was excellent. Plants were well maintained and took great. Love it! Great job!
I was away when the terrarium arrived. My neighbor kindly put the plants on a plate with water, and they are doing well. The moss is dry and brown. It just seemed to darken up the scene, so I used some light colored gravel instead.
Love it. Wish the tall was back when I ordered.
This was so easy to put together. Great instructions and quality product!
This is super cool. Very fun to assemble. Quality materials and the tool kit and mister are a nice addition.
Absolutely amazing and beautiful. I will be ordering more for Christmas gifts this year if you’re still selling by then. It was fun to put together as well as easy. I’m very excited about it Thank you!!!
Love love love! Everything I expected and more!!
I initially put too much soil in, so the plants were too tall in the jar. I removed some, replanted and am happy with the results. ( I probably could remove about 1/2 inch of the soil still). The directions said use about 60% of the soil, for me it’s closer to 50%. But it’s fun figuring it out. I’d love to see more of a ground cover plant option like string of frogs, for example.
It’s wonderful, love it!
My daughter is a high school senior so we bought her a Plant Orb that she can take with her when she attends college next year. She's a plant lover with a mischievous cat and this will keep the plants safe.
Everything came perfectly packaged and in great condition. Loved the easy and clear instructions. My goal this year was to make a terrarium and after pricing all of the items I’d need I wasn’t sure I wanted to make the investment. PlantOrb to the rescue! Everything I needed and nothing I didn’t! I have already found a tiny Sasquatch to hide in there! Sharing with all my coworkers who are jealous!
I now have 6 terrarium and I love all of them.
It took awhile to get the product, I wish someone would have reached out and explained that they where running late and it was still coming. I thought after 3 weeks of hearing nothing I had gotten scammed. But other than that I do love everything I received.
Excellent customer service. Id definitely recommend getting one of these!!.
Love putting it together and how it looks. Can't wait to enjoy the experience along the way.
Great quality works great
A wonderful gift, the plant nerd in my life loved it!
Love the whole experience
My light doesn't work. But other than that, it's great
EASy to do, instructions were easy to follow
This is my second one from them. First one was fantastic, the tall one. I got the short one second and it’s also great but the lid doesn’t really fit that well so water is escaping quickly.
